A resurrection (of sorts)

Britpop returns for ONE NIGHT ONLY to raise some much needed cash for the Japanese Red Cross. A re-union (of sorts) for all you social misfits and indie lovers.

FRIDAY 13th MAY at The Gladstone Hotel: a night of classic British indie from 8pm (no pop, no hiphop, no electro – just soaring guitars and singalong choruses).

A choice mob of selectors (that’s DJs to you) operate on the night: Andrew P Street, El Mariachi, Ping Pong Tiddly, Johnny Darko and Monkey Genius.

THINK:
Beatles,
Bowie,
Blur,
Bloc Party,
Babyshambles….
….and beer!

(+ The Smiths, The Cure, New Order, Libertines, Joy Division, Pulp, Oasis, Radiohead, Supergrass etc)

FREE ENTRY before 9pm. But come on – really – this is for a good cause! All proceeds donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

Cheap drinks as always.

Facebook event is here.
