Richard Ashcroft has the best cheekbones in the music business and is considered by many to be the overlord of the nineties Britpop era. Accompanied by his new band – the United Nations of Sound – he plays the Enmore Theatre on Saturday 31st July for what is sure to be an epic gig. Attendees will to be treated to a killer array of solo material and choice cuts from his time as lead singer with The Verve. Two words spring to mind: anthemic and awesome.
Thanks to the lovely people at Frontier Touring, we have three double passes to give away. To win one, simply send an email to britpopinoz@gmail.com with “RPA” as the subject. (Winners will be drawn at random and notified via email on Tuesday 27th July). How easy is that?
And thanks to the philanthropic nature of EMI, we’ll also be giving away copies of the brand newRichard Ashcroft & The United Nations Of Sound CD to the first few paying punters at Britpop on Saturday night.
